The tomatoes are starting to turn red!!
Last night when I got home late, I turned on the balcony light and peeked out– to my delight, one of the tomatoes caught my eye with its orange-y cast. My tomatoes are going to ripen after all!
This morning, I went out to catch this momentous occasion on camera… And saw that there were not one but two tomatoes beginning on their journey to ripe-dom! Here’s a picture of one of them…
And when I got home from work this evening, I went out to check again… and to my further delight saw that not only were two more tomatoes beginning to turn rosy, but the first two were noticeably redder. Yay! Here’s a picture of the same tomato as above at the end of the day…
Yay!! I hope you get one ripe enough to eat before your next trip.
