I am really thankful for how productive I was able to be last weekend and during the beginning of this week. It made it not so bad when I got knocked flat by a cold yesterday.

I already have 4 happy little pea sprouts in the pot where I planted seeds last Tuesday. I have to say, it is awfully nice to see perky new life when the rest of the garden is starting to wind down. Fall is always a bittersweet time for me.
