This week I’m thankful for little moments for myself. I have had some time to work on projects and things, and it’s been very nice. I also enjoyed the ability to work from home Monday and Tuesday. I got a lot of reading done, and it was kind of nice to be alone.

Today I figured out some planting dates for my tomato and cucumber seeds… and I only have to wait another 4 or 5 weeks to plant! I’m really looking forward to spring

The weather here is well beyond just plain cold (as I write this, the temperature outside is -4 F with a wind chill of -26 F), but I am so thankful for the sunshine today. Winter can get very depressing, and I have found that my spirits are lifted when the sun shines out.
