I’m giving in to the peer pressure that is the blogosphere* and have decided to post my favorite 10 paper projects completed during 2010. In doing so, I did a rough count of the finished projects– and I made approximately 100 different paper creations last year! I am a little bit stunned by that 🙂 I’m really curious to know how many I’ll complete this year, now that I am not working full time (outside the home at least) and moving halfway across the country.
So, onto the top ten (at least of the projects that I’ve posted online). Everyone has said, and I have to add my voice to the chorus and agree: It was really hard to decide. Really. But I’m sticking to the limit!
In chronological order, with links to the original post, and a comment about it.
Fall Farrago layout (made in January) — still one of my all-time favorite layouts ever.
Syracuse layout (made in May) — this layout was one of those that went together so quickly and came out exactly how I envisioned it
Mr. & Mrs. card (made in June) — I’m not a card maker (they’re really hard!!) but I absolutely love how this one turned out
Food of Fellowship mini albums (made in June) — first-ever mini albums… and now I want to make more!
A House of our Own layout (made in June) — I loved how the pieces of this layout came together at the very end.
10 Years layout (made in August) — I’d had this layout in my head for almost a year, and I finally had the perfect supplies to make it.
You Treat Me Like a Princess (made in September) — A little secret… I used my sketch for “A House of Our Own” above, because I liked it so much.
Your Banner Over Me is Love layout (made in November) — an incredibly personal layout.
Deck the Halls layout (made in November) — I love the ridiculous embellishments, and it shows some of my recent “technique” obsessions.
Four Seasons Trees paper illustration (made in December) — I love me some paper illustrations 🙂
It’s interesting to look through this list and see the common elements — horizontal lines, yes???? And I’m really surprised at how many one-pagers there are!!
*I vaguely detest that word, anyone else? but what better word is there?
I had *so* much fun looking back through these layouts. I’m glad you gave in to the pressure! 🙂
Once again, amazing! Love them all, but that Syracuse one is awesome!
