Welcome to the September 2011 Lucky Girl Crafts blog hop (September 9-11)! You should have arrived here from Ana’s blog.
~ ~ ~
This month, our theme is honor and memory, since our hop dates include the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our country in 2001. I decided that I would use this month’s kit to make cards for a great organization called Operation Write Home. I’ve talked about OWH a little bit on my blog before… but for those of you who haven’t heard of it, OWH collects handmade cards and sends boxes of them to our heroes in the military who are serving overseas. They can use the cards to send notes and messages home to their loved ones while they are deployed. I think this is such a fabulous way for crafters to get involved and thank our heroes for the work they are doing to defend the freedoms we have here in the United States.
{Go take a look at OWH’s website for more details about how you can donate cards, and what sorts of themes they can use!}

As a special incentive to our Lucky Girl friends, everyone who places an order over the blog party will receive a free gift – the larger the purchase, the larger the goody! PLUS – one lucky, random person who places an order will receive $50 worth of goodies when their order ships!
There are still tons of AMAZING deals left in the store – www.LuckyGirlCrafts.com – so hurry over and get your favorite crafty supplies before they’re gone!
Now, scoot on over to see what
Jessica
has in store for you on her blog!
