I’ve been working on a “secret” project behind the scenes, and I thought it was about time to share here on the blog…
We are delighted to announce and introduce you to this small gentleman, who will be making his debut around the first day of summer, 2014! We are very excited!
patterned paper: Prima Marketing (“My Mommy and Me”*), Lily Bee Design (French Couture/”Stella”*, Lovely/”Whimsy”, French Couture/”Tailored”), Echo Park (Playground/”Capture”, For the Record/”Borders”)
alphas: Studio Calico Elementary (Cardstock Stickers)*, Glitz Design Teeny Alphas (Uncharted Waters/”Aqua Stripes”)
Silhouette SD to cut handwritten, then scanned, word for title, hearts
embellishments: My Mind’s Eye Life Stories “Big News” journaling card*, My Mind’s Eye Lime Twist aqua twine, The Paper Studio brads, Making Memories embossed charm
stamps: My Mind’s Eye Fine and Dandy True Blue Stamps*, Papertrey Ink Journaling Lines Vol. 3 No. 3
ink: Stampabilities turquoise*, Studio G lime green*
other: machine stitching; some scrap cardstock (kraft, aqua) from my stash; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
Note: I am linking this layout up to the Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday challenge (use something new). At first, I was thinking that it was just the new ink pads (purchased last week! yay for fun new supplies!) that could possibly make my project qualify, but as I thought about it more, I realized I have a lot in my stash that I haven’t touched yet–and I finally used some of those hoarded products on this special layout. I am thinking especially of that Life Stories journaling card. I bought it back at the end of 2009 in hopes of using it as a baby announcement card in a Project 365 album, but it didn’t work out for me to use it in my 2010 album, and I forgot about it when scrapbooking about my pregnancy with my daughter. It is so special that I can use it now on this layout! All of the “new” (even if they are technically older products) are marked with asterisks in the supply list above. So hopefully it counts for the challenge!
