I’m just going to innundate you with layouts today. Here is a layout that I made for the first challenge (to catch up with one of her previous weekly challenges! I chose the maps challenge).
In the afternoon after we went to Taughannock Falls, we did a mini-tour of the Cayuga Lake wine trail. We had only enough time to go to two wineries (actually, one was a cidery!), where Husband and K tasted some of their offerings. Not only do I not care for the taste of alcoholic beverages, but I was newly pregnant with my daughter at the time! I just took photos and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. We ended our afternoon by splurging on a sundae at the Cayuga Lake Creamery. YUM.
I’d been stumped about this layout since Shimelle’s inspired-by-maps-or-globes weekly challenge, but after I made the Taughannock layout, which faces this page, I had papers sitting out and an idea finally popped into my head! Yay! This layout turned out so much better than I had hoped! I printed a map of the wine trail (found online, and it’s not from that year, unfortunately, but it’s almost the same) onto a 12″x8.5″ piece of kraft cardstock and used similar papers from the facing layout to hide the fact that the kraft isn’t full-width.
You can see red tabs behind three of the photos– you pull these to find journaling about our stops along the trail.
